Monoi oil preserves the skin’s moisture and elasticity, cocooning it in warm, heady notes of frangipani flower and petitgrain. Firms, smooths, protects, and repairs Tahitian tiaré (Gardenia tahitensis) flowers buds are placed in refined coconut oil for 12 days with a minimum of 200 flowers/ litre in accordance with the extraction process known as “enfleurage”. After this period of time, the Tahitian Monoi oil is decanted for at least 24 hours, then filtered, purified, and enriched with an antioxidant. A lightweight and non-greasy dry oil thanks to the ingredients, whose extracts contain high-quality lipids with emollient, moisturising, and film-forming properties, such as vitamins, triglycerides, and polyunsaturated fatty acids.
ACTIVE INGREDIENTS
GOSSYPIUM HERBACEUM Emollient and antioxidant. Seeds are collected and cold-pressed to mechanically extract the oil. VITAMIN E Antioxidant.CARROT OIL – ROOT EXTRACT IN ZEA MAYS Remineralising, emollient, soothing. Obtained by macerating carrot roots.COCCO OIL – Protects and nourishes. The oil is mechanically extracted by cold-pressing coconut pulp.
The dry touch oil’s formula is very similar to the epidermis and contains no preservatives, making it very well tolerated.
